Can anyone recommend a good dog clipper kit?

We would like to start clipping our American Cocker, to try and save some money. We've looked at the Wahl clippers in Argos catalogue, theres 3 or 4 different ones, and I'm gonna have a look around t'internet to see if I can find any others, just thought I'd ask here as well, see if anyone had any recomendations. havent tried them,but noticed some in poundland if thats any help to you

there is one in argos that i got for £24 in a box with a dvd was really good and my spaniel looks ace!

Hi Scooper, its for the fur that I need clippers, not the nails, sorry I should have said :embarasse
gamma, its the wahl ones I've been looking at, and I was thinking of getting the dearer ones, think there something like £39 but they dont seem to have much more in them than the cheaper ones, I will have another look to see if I can find yours, thank you. Do you find it easy to clip your dog? How long have you been doing it yourself? Hope you dont mind the questions.
