What's your point? Isn't it in my interests - as someone who pays a lot of tax - to care about the wasteful use of public money?

My point is as I stated

"Well you need not worry on your income and pension"

So you call wasteful use of public money on increasing the pensions of many vulnerable people do you

    I bet you vote Tory.

    Yes, I'll vote Tory.

Again, what's your point? You seem to say it as an insult.

    On the contrary.

As charmed as I am by your fascination with me, it's all a bit creepy.

    Hi Martin!
It is also worth noting that this change will also enable many people to claim council tax benefit who were previously unable to. If you have over 16000 savings you are excluded from claiming council tax benefit unless you are getting the guarantee credit of Pension Credits. So even if a claimant was only now entitled to £1 per week of pension credits (guarantee credit) they would automatically qualify for FULL COUNCIL TAX BENEFIT...WOW!
