Cheapest garden slate chips or weed membrane?

Hi off to buy some of the above today - just wondered if anyone has seen any bargains for this stuff (the weed membrane is the black sheet stuff that stops weeds growing) in their travels this weekend?

No need to buy the slate, we have a dis-used slate mine about a mile down the road.
