Redundant, then further pmt from Coy

Similar to an earlier thread, but another question.

I was made redundant 30/9, and a P45 issued at that time. Subsequently, as part of my package, I have been paid a bonus which is tax and NI'able. On £2507.50, I have been taxed at BR 501.40, and NI 189.94. I appreciate there will not be a further P45, but does anyone know if those figures work out right please?

Your NI seems correct asuming you are contracted out of the second state pension

you tax may or may not be correct
if you are earning in another job then its probably correct
if you have no income then its too much as you aren't getting the benefit of the tax free allowance

so depends upon your circumstances

Thanks.....yes, I am jobhunting at present, so best to wait and see if I get another position, then take it up as necessary next year?
