An interesting article. It fits in with some of the things we discuss on here about buyers taking some responsibility for their own actions. Look how many blatant scams our regulars pick up and yet buyers fall for them over and over. I'm sure you could set up an auction and actually put 'this is a scam' and they would still bid if they thought they were getting a bargain.
The figures for the amount of users is also interesting, the mind boggles at just how many people are actually using ebay now.

I had a quick scan through the article, and it doesn't seem to offer any real action that eBay are taking to stop fraud. Nothing from the usual anyway and putting the emphasis on their members.
In my opinion its just a bit of PR work for eBay, I think they could do more to stop fraudlent buyers and such. The head of the fraudbusting team offers the same advice as any other sensible person on the planet but gets paid for it at the same time!Stuff Happens As Wave of Ambiguity Spreads:cool:0
