Oh, and think I have topped the Funny things to do at uni" As a group, we decided to use gnomes.

    We only found one.

So, our villain is a clown, and the gnome's wife is a figurine that is half the size of the gnome. THe clown can't stand or sit up, and we put them on the escalator and it just laid there. Spent the afternoon laying on floors and that to try and get shots at tiny height, and created an alkie gnome, who at some point, fell face-first into the floor in the shopping centre (after we'd persuaded management AND the hot security guy to let us film) and his head fell off!

I've spent the afternoon trying not to crack up and wondering !!!!!! it'll look like!

  • I'm off to bed in a minute, it's been a long day. I found a pack of Xmas cards in a box and I've spent the past hour writing a load out. I'm being really organised this year, now I just have to remember to send them.

Don't post often - but Elfen you had me in stitches with you gnome filming! Why does my uni course not include filming funny looking minature men in shopping centres instead of power point presentations on the political and socialogical influences on professions and professionalism? definately sounds like more fun!!!

Cos I do Film and TV, and it involves production, therefore gnomes on escalators is part of the job....mainly for us, cos we're MENTAL!

  • Meeting done now.
Just have to wait up for SIL to be to return from Hull with a load of stuff they have been given for the house. It is going into my garage. The garage carefully cleared to make room for the shop stuff currently in Mum's garage. Hmmn.
Also just been told I am expected in county office again tomorrow. Grrrr!
