Thanks everyone, yep i am very proud of everyone at the moment, its not easy as you all know and sometimes i think it is harder for the children especially if they are not used to money being an issue.
My OH was complaining the other day as he loves ot buy me flowers once a week and i have said he had to stop, but instead he surprised me by buying me some herbs and wildflower seeds for the garden. I think he is finally beginning to see the up side to practical presents.
We have decided to put al the car boot stuff back into the attic until the summer when we will give it one last go.Success means having to worry about every thing in the world......EXCEPT MONEY. Johnny Cash

Newbie here but hooked already. Several years ago we were moving house and I had lots of stuff but no time to do a boot fair so I bundled it together and did a free ad in the local paper for a job lot that was suitable for a boot fair. Was offered £30 for three black sacks full. Nothing to lose with a free ad.0

Things will pick up. I must say I tried 3 car boot sales and never really made anything due to weather, or a poor turnout but I did sell the same from my garage one day and made more than car booting, but I live on a new estate near the park and shops so have lots of people passing by. Is this something you could try? No pitch costs, no petrol.
Otherwise chin up to your husband, hopefully the 'Summer' is coming and there will be some better days ahead to re-try. Stick in there.Total Debt now £22,525.07 Start Debt £32,732.36
