lol!
Im not but my living room is 24 feet long so I dont know how much I will need for the feature wall or if I will just do it in the "living room" section.
I have never done this before so im not sure how much I will lose from each roll due to matching up.
Oh dear god! I would die if it was done ALL in the same wallpaper.0 -

Sorry if I sounded a bit shocked:eek: but I had visions of your living room looking like something from way back in the 70's:rotfl: I can sleep tonight without having nightmares:rotfl:0 -
the living room atm is stuck in the 70's it has amazingly swirly brown and orange carpets in it atm....
each room is a different colour and pattern.

Each roll is 11 yards long (33 ft) and the pattern repeats every 25.2 inches
That means for a standard room ceiling (which is 8 feet) you should just get 4 full drops out of each roll and probably be able to align the pattern.
At the very worst you will definitely get 3 full drops, and the bit left over will do over doorway or fireplace and over/under a window etc.
A roll is 21 inches wide so 4 drops = 84 inches which equals 7 feet
3 drops would cover 5ft 3 inches.
If you are just doing one of the longest walls (which is 24 feet) you will need 14 drops
So, at best (4 full drops per roll = 7ft coverage) you will need 4 rolls (up to 28 feet width FULLY covered)
If you only get 3 full drops per roll then you will need 5 rolls (up to 26ft 3in width FULLY covered)
So with 15 rolls you have probably order 3 times as much as you actually need.

have just been on the site to try and reserve an extra roll, but the prices have changed now, so anyone going to collect, i would suggest taking a print out of email reservationa nd hopefully they will honour the price.

My oh is going to collect ours tonight from Edinburgh after work so will see what happens."I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. im going now to collect mine.
Have printed off my confirmation.
Not holding my breath though0 -
Oh my goodness - I hope that they honour the price!
My sister went in to collect the four rolls that I reserved yesterday but they were all different batch numbers. The lady said that they will be getting in six rolls on the Friday delivery so my sister has paid for them (got paperwork etc.) and is awaiting a call on Friday to let her know that they have arrived.
Has anyone managed to get them at that price with a print out of the email? I haven't seen the paperwork that my sister was given when she paid but I assume that it will say paid in full...0 -
Hi all the stores I tried to reserve mine in have all rang this morning and said the paper is now selling at £39.98. I thought this would happen as I mentioned earlier in this thread the HO had stopped all sales. They have said they will NOT honour the price on the reservation print out and I don't think they have to as it says at the bottom of it that the price is subject to change and that the price you pay is the price in store that day.0

Well oh went in for collection and they said they will honour it at £5 since thats the price when it was ordered, however, they dont actually have my 4 rolls in stock. Next delivery is 13th.
