I have to pay a loan company £5000 and I have received nothing.

    you can say that you were bullied into making a signed confession r else at the time you were going through a mental breakdown and didn't realise what u were actually signing for, good luck, but there is a way out of this the same way them creeps got you into this mess

    Maybe I am missing something here, but if he did not take the course of lessons then what are you being charged for? It all sounds very dodgy to me.

    Nothing dodgy, took out a loan and bought the lessons with the money. Then chose not to take them. Bit like if you borrowed the money and bought a car, then said that you should not pay because you never drive it and leave it parked outside your house.

    It's not dodgy at all.

    People pay 5k for the materials and course up front. Its up to them if they attend. The course fees dont get refunded if they then fair or dont turn up.

    OP all you can do is small courts claim against family.
