Hi,does anyone take milkthistle.Have been reading that it is good for the liver.Am reducing my alcohol intake and thought that milkthistle may help my liver.Thanks for reading.

I take it sometimes before I go out and have a drink.
Milk thistle may protect the liver against toxicity from alcohol as it is supposed to make the liver process toxins more efficiently.
Important to know.

Read the instruction leaflet.
I took it and was very sick with it as it clashed with a migraine tablet I take on occasion. Milk Thistle is a very condensed dose.
If you think you have a problem with your liver, rather go to the doctor for blood tests. Liver is not something to mess with.
