My suggestion would defo be Debenhams, they have a lovely collection of dresses in the Designers section and you can often find some stunning ones that are at a reduced price. The staff are also really helpful!
Think I saw it mentioned in a few posts but I would prob go for an empire line dress it draws the dress you in under your bust and floats down with out being clingy. So you can feel nice an comfortable sat down with out feeling you have to breath in.
Im sure you will find the perfect dress and look lovely and better than the ex lol
