Payment break on a loan?

Hi all, I just want to ask, I need a 3 month break from servicing a loan I took from Barclays. Is it possible, and how will it affect me credit rating?

nb: Mt credit record is okay, and I have been servicing the loan by direct debit and havent missed any payments so far, But I just need a little break.

Probably not. Ring them and ask.

i know that lloyds will give you a 2 month repayment holiday if payments consistently made over a 6 mth period, they just tally the total on to the end of your loan.

You need to contact Barclays to see if they offer payment holidays and whether you qualify.

Regarding the break with Lloyds, do you have to have their PPI on your loan to get a repayment holiday? I have a funny feeling that I read this somewhere last year but no idea where?
