Yes you can, someone posted about doing just this the other day, and said they were always successful (except for one bloke who moaned she was holding him up asking for his points!).
I had the opportunity the other week but bottled it in case I got a bad response from the burly bloke in front of me! But I do enter and leave Tesco with my eyes on the ground searching for till-spit-coupons (extra points) or receipts that have not had a clubcard used on them (I can spot the 'SIGN UP FOR CLUBCARD' bit at ten paces).
:rotfl:
I also got lucky this week when I stopped on my way out at the Lottery thing where you write out your tickets, and found someone had dumped their Clubcard Extra points offers in the little litter holder there (I mean the extra points coupons they send you with your Clubcard Vouchers). I already buy these on eBay sometimes so I know the surname won't matter when I use them (have never been asked at the Tesco till why I have ten different surnames on my extra points coupons...!).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Sorry, just realised this went off-topic!
My 2p's-worth as a suggestion for Nectar points (if you have kids and are local enough) is swiping your card to get in at Chessington. It was so easy at Easter to do this and not faff about with vouchers and suchlike. It felt like I hadn't paid at all and there were 6 of us (altho' the youngest scraped in at just under 1m so he was free anyway).
