I think you could apply for one.
I've read threads on here about people opening accounts with Barclays, even though they were had owe money to them.0 -
Yep. Barclays are one of 2 BR friendly banks. My ex owed them money that went into BR and they still opened a basic account for him.Debt 30k in 2008.:o Cleared all my debt in 2013 and loving being debt free

Mortgage free since 2014

Also have a look at the Co-op Cashminder account. You still get online access when undischarged with this account.Bankrupt 07/10/2009

you should be fine barclays were one of my largest creditors and they've just recently offered me a standard account (been pestering me in the past to open a basic account as well before I received discharge)We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0

They won't make you pay your wages in the account.
Just bring your passport or drivers licence. Once piece of ID is sufficient.0 -
If they try to take your wages now for a debt which was included in your bankruptcy, they are breaking the law. So should it happen, tell your OR and they will have to give any funds taken back immediately.BR 08/04/09 | ED 02/10/09

I made it through!
Don't ignore a problem. Unlike a bad smell, it won't eventually go away.0
