nationwide mortagges sla

Hi.

I applied for a mortgage through an intermediatery. Documents were sent to Nationwide on 20/10. Valuation was done on 28/10.

According to the intermediatery nationwide has still not looked at the documents as on friday.

Is there any way to escalate the process as I need to exchaneg contracts by 12 november or loose the property.

Thanks in advance!

There is a postal strike that is on at present. If you can obtain copies of the original documents then perhaps you can seek out alternative means of delivery.
My parents are selling/buying and my mum takes the bus to deliver the documents to the conveyancing solicitor.

You need to press the intermediary to press them hard.

You've set yourself a really tough deadline on this.
