16 Duracell AA batteries for £4 - Instore @ BOOTS

Boots are currently doing an offer where you can get any two standard packs of Duracell for £4 (4 x AA/AAA, 2 x C/D or 1 x PP3).

However you should find if you look around some packs of AA that are buy 4 get 4 free, and these still work on the 2 for £4. So you can get 16 duracell batteries for £4!

N.B. I know that you can get something like 2.5 million batteries for £1 or something in the pound shops (;)), and it is of course generally cheaper to use rechargeables (excepts when the kids/wife forget and throw them away!)...BUT for people who want good disposable batteries - it's going to be hard to beat! :D

That is the reason why I have never bnought them so far. Most of our battery use is into toys that seem as disposable as the battery and certainly the rechargeables costs more than the toys! By the time the Duracells are dead so are the toys. Sad really.
