Topcashback or Quidco - Which is Best?

Hi
Speaking from my experience anyone must be better than Top cashback. I've been waiting for 5 months now for a £70 cashback that was supposed to take a maxiumum of 3 months. I've chased them twice and while they come back quickly nothing happens you're just told to wait. I'm not going to use them again until they at least sort this one out and maybe not even after that.
I'm starting to wish I'd never seen Martin's post on them as it's now starting to annoy me so much. But I'm not giving up ! !, they said they'd pay out when I went through them with my purchase so why should I.
Its not just me then :mad:Loved our trip to the West Coast USA. Death Valley is the place to go!0 -
Don't know about topcashback, but I now use Cashbackkings because they pay out within 10 days, where as Quidco wait 10 days and then pay out at the end of which ever month you fall into, which is a pain if you need the money quickly as I recently did.0

I have used Quidco, for a vodafone contract.......was meant to get £120 cashback, when it tracked it tracked as £60 and its validated but still no payment!!!I got my fone back in April time I think. So not a happy bunny. I used Littlewoods to but it didnt do anything for that. I have contacted them and they said its due to the retailer.
I havent used the other one, might give it a go tho0 -
I use and check both before ordering anything - it appears that they get exclusive on some of the deals - not sure why. It would be nice if Martin did a video on cashback sites.0

Indeed i always check both ! Sometimes quidco has better but right now im using topcashback because they're offering an extra 1% by default0

whatever you do, don't use top cash back to buy anything through More than insurance.
I've been waiting I've been waiting for £80 cash back for insurance taken out last august. TCB do not seem to take this seriously and appear to have no interest in resolving the problem

:j I have used Topcashback for ages now only had 1 problem when JML didn't pay just sent in a query and got it all sorted. also got £75. cash back for car insurance which was a great help. I have used Quidco in the past but never earned enough after they took their £5. off, mind you have learned how to use sites now.0

This cashback site rivalry is all very entertaining, so here's what I hope is an unbiased account of both sites:
TCB is good because you can check the tracking reliability of each retailer, because it's free, and because they give top-ups which can really boost your earnings for no extra cost. I've earned nearly £1800 through them and (I think) a total of three retailers have failed to pay out, out of a hundred or so in total.
Quidco is good because it seems to pay out faster, but the £5 fee is a bit annoying, and no top-ups either. Still, seem reliable enough. I've earned about £460 through them.
Rather than either/or, how about using both of them? Each site will often have exclusive offers or retailers so I use both, check which has the higher rate, and go with that. Works fine for me...0 -
Personally I make a decision to buy something based on its own merits, it's price, the retailer I'm buying from etc, and then I'll check if there's any further saving via a cashback site. The cashback is secondary, a bonus, if it works it works, if not no big deal.0
