Homemade cakes

in Old style MoneySaving
My daughter made some homemade banana cakes last Sunday. We all forgot about them and I just found them in a tin. They are not mouldy do you think they are still ok to use or should I bin them.

    Cakes usually hold in a tin for a week with no problems so I think that they will be fine

    If the tin was well sealed they should be okay if a little dry, but would make a good base for something like a banana trifle, or even break up and make into individual sponge puds with banana custard, ooh want some now.
