Question about tesco deal vouchers

I am getting more and more confused and once again looking for some guideance.
So thanks to this site. I have £79 of clubcard vouchers so i understand that the deal vouchers would be a value of £316 (4x).
So when in the deal magazine it says you earn 60 airmiles for every £2.50 in clubcard vouchers does it mean deal vouchers or orginal vouchers
ie would i earn
£316 / £2.5 * 60 = 7584
or
£79 / £2.5 * 60 = 1896
Another example is that i was considering buying a cosmolitan subscription which would be £8.97 in clubcard vouchers now if this was out of the £316 its nothing but if its out of the £79 then i might think twice as i think there are better deals.
Thanks in advance for anyone who can unconfuse me.

All the figures given in the booklet are in ORGINAL "Clubcard Vouchers".
For instance, you should find some deals that say something along the lines of "£2.50 ClubCard Vouchers buys you a £10 Voucher" - These are for products/services that you can pay part voucher, part cash for.
I think that when there's a specific amount (like the £8 odd for those mags), then that is the required amount from the original clubcard vouchers, and you'll receive a voucher that will cover the full cost of the item.
If you pay for the above with a £10 clubcard voucher, then the "change" will be creditted back to your clubcard account.
Hope that makes sense?0 -
You would get 1896 airmiles (for £79 Of clubcard vouchers) and the magazine would cost £8.97 in actual vouchers you have at home.
The true '4X conversion' really only applies to vouchers like Days Out or Holiday vouchers. For each £2.50 voucher you have, Tesco will convert this into 1 £10 voucher.
Some of the other deals such as Magazines & Alton Tower Tickets etc may not represent a true 4X Value as the offers are based on the full RRP, where as you can buy the items with 'real money' cheaper eleswhere(although clubcard vouchers used in such offers probably do still represent at least twice (2x) their value compared to simply spending your vouchers in store at Tesco).0
