Toy Sales

Does anyone know what other toy sales there usually are before christmas please? We've tried to be really good this year and not just buy stuff because it's cheap, but get stuff the boys want and try and find it at the best price. We've done well on a few things in the sainsbury's sale, and Argos deals and vouchers etc and got everything discounted so far. Only a few things left now, but I'm reluctant to give in and buy what's left if there's always a (for example) Tesco sale in November etc.

Can anyone help?

Amazon have Baby Annabell version 5 at £34
Sainsburys have Lego stuff at half price and Amazon have the Minotaurus game for just under £15 [Sainsburys have it cheaper but are out of stock and so are Argos] HTH

PS I had to get the kiddies bikes last year and went to Halfords cos they do special offers and we ended up getting alot of bike accissories free which would of cost about £50. Or you could try Freecycle, we've had some excellent things from there.

I've just read on another forum [Sainsburys half price toys] that Tesco's start their toy sale on 4th Nov - don't know if that true but maybe worth checking out

We're looking at

Lego City Police truck, helicopter transporter and prisoner van (I know lego's like gold dust this year, and no deals :mad: ) about £30, £20 and £8 best prices I've found for each (from Argos)

Fisher Price busy days laugh and learn activity table (best I've found so far is £44.99 at Mothercare but I have a 10% off voucher)

We've got everything else on our list - I've been shopping since August though.................

Sorry but I can only find the same prices as you have quoted, good luck with the hunt, I'm still after a few bits so I'm trawling through the sites everyday aswell, I'll be thinking of you as I search!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm really lucky as I have got nearly everything - thank you Sainsburys and MSE site for all the money saving posts.

Whats left to get isn't costing too much but I just HATE to pay the full price knowing that the shops are making sooooooooo much money from us especially when we are so broke.

Although out of stock, thetoyshop.com sell the police truck for £10 - may be worth keeping an eye out incase it comes back in, Helicopter transporter is £25 and the prisoner van is £10 so still a bit cheaper that Argoose
