    You OK DS?
    Is that Cleavers new house?

PS; How did you make a mini movie?

Yep fc thanks. Having endured the results of reckless credit expansion, it will take more than a bull-trap and Daily Express style reports to break my spirits and objective of buying a home at fair value. Only insane enough to be making another mini-movie response to a thread. The mini movie (it isn't possible to embed videos here so I didn't make it a full sized video) was just a lot of image stills flickbooked together in a way which can display on a forum thread. The actual design and environment within the video was something I quickly mapped out, having a background in building virtual worlds.

    housing wealth is an illusion...simple
It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.

No, even Mr Optimistic over here wasn't even willing to pay £200k for that place.

Fantastic video Dopester, very skillful. I'm always quite jealous of creative people who can create stuff like that. How freaked out do you think the owners of that house would be to see that?

As I remember a couple of months ago the Daily Express ran a headline of "House Price Boom Starts Again". A couple of months on it's "House Price Slump Over". So a couple of months from now theres only one logical outcome..

Ahh Geoff, what would we do without your fascinating and insightful commentary? Maybe you and Ad44downey could go for a drink sometime to discuss economics?

    "Housing wealth is an illusion"
"I agree. Inflation is the the theft of the rich from the poor."
"Indeed. The greed of the many will be beneifical to the few."
    "Debt is not wealth."
"Oh, you're right there Downey. Junkies, the lot of them."
    "Hmmm mmm."
"Erm... have you got anything other than a meaningless slogan to say?"
    "Ermm..... no."
    "Nor me. Fancy another pint?"
"Nah, I'm only 12, shouldn't be drinking really."
    "Ah well."
