TESCO CLUBCARD VOUCHERS - Wrong Name Identified

I have a clubcard account and have been collecting vouchers as usual for a couple of years now. I took out a life insurance policy with Tesco last year, and finally the clubcard vouchers have landed through my door - HOWEVER they have opened a new clubcard account and have my name slightly wrong. The 'Mr' and the 'Surname' are correct, but the initial of my christian name is not correct (its actually the same as my wife's if that helps)

Anyway, have read several post where people have been refused being able to use vouchers if there name is not on them. I want to use these latest ones for money of at MFI and also RAC membership via the tesco website - does anyone see any problems ahead??

not sure of the answer..but my initial is also wrong and I have told them at least twice to change it to no avail.

Having said that I used vouchers last year for purple parking with no probs

I have a tesco credit card (in my name) which also acts as a clubcard and a normal clubcard (in my and my husbands name, his surname is different). Never had any problem using the vouchers together, but obviously one name is the same and the address is the same.
I dont want to combine them because I like to get the extra points vouchers every quarter on both accounts.
No guarantees, but hopefully no problems for you.

dont worry as when they issue the mfi vouchers they only have your surname on and no initial....at least ours did :)

As long as the cards are linked they are fine to use together. I asked them the same question and they said if the cards are linked then its classed as the same account.

You might want call up to check they have the accounts linked together.

As far as ordering online is concerned, if the surname and registered addy is the same then no probs (I've combined 4 accounts worth on the same order before).

For MFI, they only come with surname so again, no probs...;)
