Unpaid CCJs

Options
My partner had a CCJ in April 1998 for a student bank account with Barclays which was for approx £800. First few payments were made of approx £25 but payments were then stopped for various reasons.

Even though this CCJ was never satisfied, will it have dropped off my partner's credit file altogether with it now being over 8 years ago??
If you're going to stalk me, while you're at it can you cut the grass, feed the dog & make sure I've got bread & milk in :D

You'll need to get the credit report as then if it is still there (shouldn't be but sometimes they linger!!) you'll be able to get it removed as it is over the 6 years.

It will have fallen off his credit file but once you have a CCJ it can be chased indefinetly there is no statute barred 6 year rule they can come after you in 20 years time you should try to repay whatever amount is owing

CCJs never linger and are definitely removed from credit reference agency records six years from the original court order, regardless of whether or not they are paid.
