Can I start a business during BR?

Hi all,
We won't be officially BR until the week after next but our forms are in.
I have been training to become a Reflexologist for the the past year and I'm now qualified. Once I have enough head space to set it up, I wanted to start a business. Is this allowed? I won't be a manager or director as such, just self employed?!

You can operate a sole trader business without any problem but might find it difficult to open a business bank account. You could open a separate Coop basic cashminder and run it through there.

I went br in August & I am still allowed to carry on as a sole trader.

- im training too - will qualify next summer.
Max - reflexology is working on the pressure points in the feet or hands to balance out the bodies energy flow, to promote health and well being and is known to be very effective for many health conditions
