I think they had to change it as yesterday it showed a bed set but it said "quilt and 4 pillows" which gave the impression you were getting an actual quilt and 4 pillows when it was infact just the duvet cover and 4 pillow cases. There was alot of angry people at the bedlinen department yesterday!!
  • No, its two different items altogether. On Wednesday it was a table lamp, now a bed set and on Friday it was a bedside cabinet and now a metal bed head, these are both the £10 items.

I thought my eyes were decieving me when I checked the vouchers last night, although I was not going to be after anything for £10.

BTW- someone on hotukdeals got two of the cutlery on Monday. Think they must have gone round twice.

I got 2 cutlery also but my mum was with me so we got 1 each! We went together yesterday too, I didnt want the vase but my mum wanted 2 so I used my voucher for her.
Today was a riot!! Especially for the 10p stools!! There was people picking up a pile of them and putting them in their trolley and I noticed they had a pile of vouchers, naughty!!!!
I managed to get 1 stool, the blue boxes and 6 champagne glasses for a whole 50p haha!!
I asked about the lamps but apparently they only had 2 in stock, what was the point in putting them on offer to not get any extra stock in???
  • No riot when I was in and I would be one of the people with a pile of vouchers as I needed one voucher for each seat pad to a maximum of four and one vouchers for two glasses so needed three of them. I took a pair of scissors with me and gave away the vouchers I didn't need so a couple of people who didn't know about the offers got a stool each for 10p. I got two stools by going in twice :)

I assume it was a lack of stock of the lamps that made them change the offer to the bed linen.

Sorry wasnt offending people with loads of vouchers that needed them for the amount you were allowed. It was people getting piles of things you were only allowed one of!
Today was even worse!!! Got to the lamps and people were sitting on piles of them to keep them for their pals who were at the other items trying to get them!!
So I went to the drawers and guess what, same again!! People piling them high while they wait on their pals!
Everyone was complaining to staff but they wouldnt do anything about it!
1 girl was sitting on a pile of 7 drawers and her pals werent even in the store!
They should of had staff at each item and handing 1 each to people who are waiting in a que to make it fair on everyone. At the lamps there was loads of us waiting for one but then there was some greedy beggers who ran to them ahead of everyone and pushed bundles to the side to keep them for people!
    What a shambles
  • The only stage of the game (and game it is when it comes to a sale) that the staff would stop anyone taking more than one is at the till where they would only be allowed to buy one. That is the stage that the staff were loudly abused by many people, totally out of order in my opinion.

I went in on the Tuesday for the mirror and xmas baubles and took the time to suss out exactly where the other items were located in the store, by asking staff and explaining that I was planning my shop for the next day. By going in the exit door, no queues, straight to the seat pads picked up my four and headed to the stools. A staff member asked how many I wanted, two please I said and went and hid one stool on a warehouse shelf and went to the till to pay for my one and the seat pads, all done in five minutes. Back in to pick up my second stool, found one lonely seat pad so picked that up and passed out my other vouchers for stools, got my 6 glasses paid and left before half the folk who came in the front entrance had even got down to the warehouse. Prior planning is everything :)
  • I was just checking the Ikea website for stock on this weeks offer and found they are doing a daily offer similar to the sale where you print out a voucher and get 25% off.

Today the offer is for a mattress £90 down to £74.25 and blind £24.99 down to £18.74.
Monday's offers are Malm birch 3 drawer chest down from £55 to £41.25 and a pillow from £37.99 to £28.49. One voucher per customer and one item per customer.

  • Forgot to update with today's offer, which is Malm two drawer chest in oak veneer, down from £29.00 to £21.75, I've used the stock checker and there appears to be plenty. Print the voucher and its one voucher per customer and one item per customer. The second offer is the Kolby Cow Hide rug, down from £169  to £126.75.
