Urgent Halloween Help Please

Morning everyone,

I need help please!!!!

My darling little 11 year old has said for weeks that he didn't want to dress up for Halloween this year, but told me as I was dropping him off at school this morning that he's changed his mind and wants to go to a party tomorrow night!!

I'm really skint, as Monday's payday, and none of his outfits from previous years fit him anymore.

The most imaginative thing I've come up with is a ghost with a sheet over his head!:o:D

Does anyone have any ideas for a cheap outfit that's easy to make as I'm not very artistic.

Thanks in advance folks.

You could make him into a mummy by wrapping toilet paper or bandages around him - quite simple to do (bandages are the more expensive option but are much less likely to unravel or can even be pinned into place).

Also you could do the vampire option. Put him in a white shirt, black trousers and then make a black cape and paint blood onto his face.

Could also dress him as a zombie simply by ripping and muddying up some of his old clothes.

You could also dress him as a zombie....

Have a rake through your make up bag and give him a white face and dark circles round his eyes

Give him "burns" - get some washing up liquid (preferably cheapish and yellow) and add red food colouring. Add a generous shake of instant coffee and apply in layers.

If you put him in old clothes you can "burn" and dirty him on one side and leave the other untouched.

You might want to add a layer of moisturiser under the burns before you put it on if he has sensitive skin. You'll need more fake blood because it's harder to make it stay in place but it'll be easier to remove.

i once did a zombie an old jumper cut zigzaggy at the bottom looked fab
grey eyshadow make a great blusher and makes them look really drawn ,

or as the matrix , dressed one in my long leather cost , which was to the ground on him , sunglasses and a toy gun also very easy and quick

i had twins , last yr they decided to go as the 118 guys , was fab

also if you got some face paint ,for a cheap frankeistein , just cut 3/4 of the way down a pillow as use that under and old jacket to make the huge shoulders ,

ive never bought the kids new outfits but used whatever is to hand , and charity shop have some great stuff very cheap too

this yr step daughter is going as minnie mouse ( she doesnt like scarry things)
got a black frilly skirt for free at a car boot , red polka dot top in charity shop , my older daughter had minnie ears , some black gloves , black tights , black shoes and white socks , will just paint her face ,

    post up some pics

    hope he has fun

Thanks again everyone for the great ideas!

He dressed up as a zombie. All I had to buy was facepaints, which cost a whole £1.99!!:D

I was worried that it would look rubbish, but it all came together really well and he looked great, and he actually said it's the best halloween outfit he's ever had!

I'll post a pic later on when I find the usb cable for my mobile.
