after bankruptcy

Hi all
I have my date 20-11-2009 for bankruptcy, But i have heard a few people on hear say that they are cleaning up there credit file, what does this mean? and how long after should it be done?

    Wait until after discharge (about 3 months after, to give them time to update the records).

    Basically, the "clean-up" is to ensure that dates on defaults are correct so that when the BR eventually drops off the file, everything else does too and it looks better.
