Sand pit help - all you argos employees

There is a turtle sandpit on offer at the moment:

however we cannot reserve for instore pickup only for home delivery, however no where in the catalogue or offer brochure does it say home delivery only

so:
Can we buy in store even though we cannot reserve?

TIA - MiL wants to buy for our dds birthday in June

Hi shimmigirl, I don't think you will be able to buy it from the store. Have you tried the ring and reserve number?

Try that and see if you are able to reserve one. If you are, then you can buy it at the store. As far as I can tell, we don't have any in our stockroom and I think it is probably due to size of the sandpit thats why it will be home delivery.

The catalogue and brocheres might have errors on it. It is usually best to check at the tills because the bulletin on the till will inform you of the latest news that might affect the item.

Hi shimmigirl - i'm trying to get one too! my mum works at argos, and she tried to reserve it for me, but it said "home delivery only". As dark forces said, it is probably due to the size of it! Now, if only I could find a free delivery code!!

Sorry to say this but there are no free delivery codes available. Absolutely none. The only time you can get free delivery is if you get a coupon which they sometimes send out with the Argos Card statement.

I have been asked that loads of times at work.

hi do not know if i have done this right only just joined but if it is any help there is a sand pit in toys'r'us they are hippo shaped ones all different colours i got my daughter one for her birthday she loves it. They are the same price and did go on special offer a couple of weeks ago. I apologise if i have done this post wrong.
