Oh dear - having recently moved why are you asking these questions now? Surely, you should have considered all your alternatives before you moved?
I think you will find that both mortgages will run concurrently and you will not have the option of maximising payments on only one. There is also no right to changing to interest only, your lender will have to give permission.0 -
