Slow cooker and schwartz question

Hiya,

I have a pack of schwartz spag bol mix and mince waiting to be used. And I was wondering if I could do this in the slow cooker?
I usually use my slow cooker for beef stews.
Would I put it on tonight for tomorrow lunch time?
Or would I be best putting it on at 8am for say 2-3pm.

I would think 8am til 3pm would be fine...im not sure about the packet sauce tho,the last one i used thickened too much and stuck all around the slow cooker...probably my fault tho as id left it on high!
