info needed from bank

hi everyone hope everyone is keeping as cheerful as possible!
wonder if anyone can help? I am going br, got my date in less than a month. i took a loan out 4 years ago which i think was mainly 'debt consolidation' but looking on my credit report i can't quite work out what i cleared with this loan. i really need to find out off the bank what their records say as reason for loan and any cards that got paid off directly with it, but i am scared to call the bank! i have just missed my first repayment and i'm worried they won't help me out with this info as i owe them cash.
any experience of this? what happens if i can't fully explain what exactly the loan payed off? i'm not trying to hide anything, i just have a shocking memory and unfortunately a habit of shredding stuff....
thanks x

I don`t think it matters that much whether you can remember or not, just be honest and tell them what you think you did with it. I know for a fact I will not be able to count for everything.:pB&SC No. 298

as DJM said "guestimates" are fine...the OR understands we've all been in the "bury head under sand" club..during interview just explain they'll understand...We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0

By the sounds of your post the bank paid the creditors directly, have I got that right?
We has a consolidation loan paid directly, when the OR asked which account the money had gone into and who had been paid we just said we didn't see a penny of it and couldn't remember because who had been paid it went straight to creditors, OR was happy with that.
I guess if the OR really wants to know they can ask the bank themselves.

i think they paid off one credit card directly but think i got the rest - it doesn't make sense tho. seems a high loan, must have been a few creditors.. oh well, not much i can do now i suppose?! thanks peachy0 -
Don't worry if you can't remember - its best to be honest and just say that. I pride myself on my memory but in my interview I just couldn't remember what we spent a remortgage 4 years ago on. Of course, as soon as I walked out the door I remembered - almost wanted to go back and tell him (I didn't!).
