Car insurance money saving

Options
Just got a huge deal out of the Post Office. I've got 4 years no claims and was expecting a renewal from my current insurer of £220. Post Office are offering £50 cashback (to be sent within 28 days of taking the insurance) and they quoted me only £200. Took out the policy through Quidco and I get another £16.50 back giving me a whole years car insurance for only £133.50!
Debt as at 12th July 2006 - £61,345
Debt free 21st Oct 2011.

All thanks to :money:

The offer runs out 31st May, could you renew now with cover due to start on X date? Obviously this would mean paying a bit earlier but then you will get the £50 cashback.

Not sure if the Post Office may have stopped doing this now. I heard they were having budget problems with this offer.

I used confused.com and the post office came out quite well and when u took the £50 cashback offer into account they came out the best deal.

I got a £50 postal order thru the post within 28 days.
    It's a great deal.

Tesco quoted my renewal as £308 (£25 more than last year), Post Office quote was £227 + £50 cashback = saving of £132 + £16.50 from Quidco!

When I rang Tesco, they requoted at £288, but still had 10 other companies cheaper than them for exact same details.
