Just bought two of these at Asda. Better still I had two 20p off coupons so got them for 49p each.

I bought this last time instead of the standard tub of Gold, which I have been buying since it first came on the market. I am not impressed with it. It doesn't have the same taste as normal Gold & I think it tastes more like a cheapy spread. :mad: I won't be buying it again.

We bought some recently at the cheap price from Morrisons and also saw it at the same price in Tesco's (I think).

Made the mistake of stocking up with it in true MSE fashion but have to admit the family didn't like it at all especially on crumpets and toast - it didn't so much melt as ooze in a runny 'oil' slick and the kids thought it tasted 'funny'.

We finished it but under duress.

Oh well!! My bargain buy may not have been such a bargain after all!!! I'll try using it in some baking if it really is that awful. Thanks for replies.

Yes, I got some on deal as well but it's not very nice.
Never mind and least it was not a 3 for 2 !!
