Hello guys,
up until may this year i was in serious debt with o/s debts of £28K, but my parents kindly gave me the money to pay it back, i am paying them back every month, quite comfortably, anyway without digressing, My hubby and I would like to move, we have no o/s debts apart from the current mortgate, of which we have never missed a payment. Our Current mortgage is £54K on a £230K property and we are looking to move to a period property with a value of £250K. My Husbands credit score is in the 900's, and mine is 845. Here's the crux, i have a CCJ (which is settled in full) but it was issued in 2007. Our current lender is Nationwide.
My question is, has anyone on the board ever had a 'moved property' mortgage whilst having my sort of history.
be grateful for any advice
thanks

Maximum Debt £33k in 2007  all on CC's (I know, lesson learned; never consolidate and not cut up the cards!)
Now completely debt free, but it was a double edged sword

Before everyone enters into conjecture, phone Nationwide your current lender. As you have never missed a payment I would be very surprised if the lender would not grant you further borrowing facilities or porting your mortgage with additional borrowing.0

Indeed, I was going to say the exact same thing!
I can't imagine that Nationwide would not simply move your mortgage over to the new house with the amount of equity that you have and with your payment history with them.
Good luck!0
