tiny victory

I know this is tiny, but only fellow debt free wannabes can appreciate what a big deal this is. Have just renewed my home insurance, saved about £45 on my renewal quote, and best of all I paid for it up front on my credit card, and have the cash left aside to pay the bill as soon as it comes in. So thats no interest paid…

I don't think it's a 'tiny victory' at all! In fact I am aiming/working towards doing the same in Sep / Oct when my home / car insurances are due! We got really good quotes last but the home one went on monthly repayment which bumped it up a bit. Not this year though

So, well done! :T That's an important part of good money management I think.
