I recently posted on here asking if anyone knew of any 95% mortgages but it seems these are pretty much extinct now!
So my next bet is a 90% one so can anyone help on advising me the best ones currently available?
Thankyou

Halifax do a 90% advertised in local branch0

We got our 90% from RBS. 5.94% and no product fee (as we are FTB). We also got 0.5% off the interest rate as we are existing customers. They have the info on their website. Our Whole of Market IFA couldn't even get us this deal. Other people have commented that this is quite a good deal. The best our IFA could get us was 7.52% with the halifax plus £799 arrangement fee.0

Britannia Exclusive (you or partner must have a degree or professional qualification). 90% LTV at 4.09% discount variable rate.0

Is this advertised on a website anywhere or is it just a branch only deal or something? Because the only similar deal I can find is a Britannia Exclusive 4.29% for 85% LTV and BOTH of you must have a degree or professional qualification. I can't post links yet but it's on a site called sharetobuy dot com.0 -
HSBC have just upped their tracker to BOE + 4.39% (so 4.89% atm). Allows unlimited overpayments, no tie in period and no early repayment penalty, so you can leave as soon as you want.0

My apologies - the was 90% LTV up until a few days ago (I know because we have taken the same product and move house tomorrow). It appears to have changed to 85% LTV for new borrowers.0 -

Given the fact that thousands of people with degrees are unemployed as are people who don't have degrees that doesn't seem to add up to me.Just because someone has a degree doesn't mean they have any more common sense or job security than anyone else in the Labour market.
Smacks of discrimination to me.
Must make a note , spend a few evenings for a year and get a degree in A spurious subject no one understands like "monkey behaviour" or cake decorating.........0
