I used bunches.co.uk to send flowers. Much cheaper as they use royal mail... but maybe not your best bet with post the way it is at the moment. Becuase your not paying someone to deliver you can send nice bunch for like £12 and those who had send arrival lovely and once in a vase no difference really.
Marks and spenser also do flowers that I know of.0 -
I've had a couple of disappointments with Bunches but have always had compliments with M & S and Next. How much you wish to spend may be the deciding factor. Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0

thanks for the help i've looked at bunches.co.uk and there using fed ex in place of royal mail for an extra £3.00 which seems fair
i'm going to use what you suggest bunches.co.uk
thanks again0 -
If I can afford to be lavish - then agree that Next is good.
If a little more budget conscious then I tend to look up on the internet the nearest flower shop to the recipient and contact them direct. If its really nearby then they usually don't charge any delivery and you can talk through what they have in the shop that might be suitable. Often a flowering pot plant is just a few pounds and can be beautiful and the plant will live on (unless they are like me and my natural ability to kill pot plants!!!)
This way avoids any intermediary like inteflora that take their cut...0 -
hiya i didn't want to spend anymore than £20.00 including delivery if it's possible the flowers are for an internet friend.I've had a couple of disappointments with Bunches but have always had compliments with M & S and Next. How much you wish to spend may be the deciding factor.0 -

I can reccommend Bunches, I have used them for the past 4 years approx 5 times a year and not had one problem. All the recipients have said the flowers are gorgeous, and last well past 7 days.
I have bought from their cheapest to their most expensive 2 weeks ago for my Auntie's birthday.
You can also select courier instead of Royal Mail to guarentee delivery on a day of your choice.
If you do use them don't forget to register so that you get points back from your purchase which can be redeemed on future orders
