Sorry for the probably very weird thread!
I'm knitting some socks for my mum's birthday pressie and am not sure how long to make them. She's a size 5 and I wondered if some kind OSer would mind measuring their foot for me! What I need is the length of your foot from heel to the tip of the toe (preferably in inches).
I would be very grateful and will send a huge virtual hug your way if you can help me out :rotfl:

Had to look at this thread to see what it was about, and then measure my feet. Agree 9.5 inches. Something I have never measured before but amusing anyway.0
