Flapjacks gone wrong!

I made some flapjacks this afternoon, something obviously went wrong and they are dry and crumbly.
Has anyone got any suggestions as to what I can use them for? or mix them with to make them a bit more moist?

I would guess that you didn't use enough fat and/or sugar - I can't think of any other reason for them to go like this.
You could have the bits with fruit and yoghurt (or ice cream) for a quick pudding, or use as a topping for cooked fruit, like a sort of instant crumble. I'm sure someone else will have more bright ideas!Back after a very long break!0 -
I made some sort of flapjack a while ago using a bag of leftover oaty cereal so it was quite dry. I used grated apple and mashed banana to stick it all together.Grocery challenge - Nov: £52/£100

Also good as cereal topping.

I would melt some golden syrup and some butter in a pan, and pour the oat mixture back in and stir, should set then x0

What about melting some chocolate and stirring it in to stick it all together?0

Maybe you could use it as a cheesecake base?0
