YBS offering 2 year fix at 4.99% to me (an existing customer)

The kind folk at Yorkshire Building Society have written me a letter informing me that my current 5 year deal is coming to an end. My LTV is 37% according to them.
The SVR is currently 4.99% which is exactly what their fee free 2 year fixed rate mortgage is set at. It still feels a bit high to me and there are certainly cheaper rates out there, albeit with fees.
I’d appreciate any comments particularly from those of you who track the deals on offer.
Thanks in advance.

2 years isn't long enough. Could be just about then that rates have shot up after recovery and inflationary effects take hold in the economy...
At that LTV you want 5 years for the same rate, imo. HSBC? http://www.hsbc.co.uk/1/2/personal/mortgages/remortgage/fixed-rate;jsessionid=0000iG5rnEc_N1s8xIYC3A7Fn8e:11j5bfvdu
Guess it partly depends on the size of mortgage, whether its big enough to absorb the fees over time, for moving lender.Act in haste, repent at leisure.

I think you can get 10 years for 5.49% with your LTV. I think it's Britannia who offer that.0
