Hi,
Has anyone seen the Morrisons Ad on TV where they have reduced veg to 30p a bag for this week only?
Does anyone know what veg it is? I don't have a Morrisons close by but will travel and buy in bulk if I can find out what it is first

I was in Morrisons yesterday and I picked up packs of braeburn apples from Germany, big crunchy ones, a little bit tart but nice and juicy for 30p for four in a polystyrene and plastic wrap. They'd be nice in an apple pie. I also got 1kg of carrots for 30p, they are loads of little ones and probably a bit footery to peel but if not bothered with peeling then fine. Sorry didn't know what else, that's also I bought but worth a look. Maybe someone else will be along to add some more.“Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot. In your soul are infinitely precious things that cannot be taken from you.” - Oscar Wilde0

Thanks SM, I'm thinking of going and stocking up on cheap veg, peeling and chopping it, then freezing it!0

Thanks shopndrop that was very useful. Think I'll take a trip there on Friday and stock up - all the veg can be prepared and frozen - bargain!0

I went in today and picked up apples, satsumas, carrots, onions and savoy cabbage all for 30p a pack, and the baking potatoes were 50p for 4 instead of 30p for 6. Very good deals
*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!NSD Jan 2/150 -
