                    Hello all.
The story goes... I work at a commercial rubbish tip. We happened to have some waste come in from a Tesco's filling station. I noticed one of the clear bags contained lots of reciepts. So, I went through them, amongst the reciepts were several that had not been paid for with a clubcard. I understand these can be put onto a clubcard?
The thing is, I now have about 20 reciepts, containing around 150 points to be claimed, BUT they are all from the same date. If I take them to have the points put onto my clubcard, will the Tesco staff member be suspicious, or is this perfectly OK?
Thanks.

It's the £6 in deals I'm more interested in. When you're a low earner and have children to feed and cloth, money is money.0

I think you can only get the points if you claim within 14 days of the date on the receipt but I don't see anything wrong in claiming the points if someone else hasn't.0

You can only get two receipts done a day and it will look suspicous if they are all for petrol on the same day. Try them one at a time if you can. hth.0

You made me laugh, (in a good way) fair play to you for your resourcefulness. i would probably agree with doing a few at once, but go for it, as you said, money is money.0

I have seen on a MSE forum that some stores are monitoring the number of times points from receipts are added to a clubcard so it may be best to try only a few. Alternatively you could add some to unregistered cards and then link them to your main card later.0

            Don't do it!
Tesco DO monitor clubcard points added later, and may intervene if one card has had several receipts added. Sometimes a suspicious staff member at store level flags it up.
I was one of several people a couple of years ago who received a 'warning' letter from Tesco Clubcard HO. They had noticed I had had several receipts added over a period of weeks and wondered if I was having some trouble or had lost my clubcard?
They asked me to call a number to discuss...and reminded me that points are supposed to be earned at the point of purchase. I didn't ring the number but I knew what they were getting at! I pretty much stopped claiming points from receipts (a relative's purchases in fact, plus a couple of wombled receipts).
Some people have had their cc points taken away for this abuse. Not worth the risk for £1.50 in Tesco vouchers!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I thought I'd try my luck and done 4 of the highest value ones. The lady at customer services, said she should only do 2 at a time really. As I was polite to her and we had a little laugh, she done all 4. Don't think i'll do the rest though.
I've become a little addicted to Tesco Clubcard points of late. You wouldn't believe the amount of printers business throw out with ink cartridges in them. Straight to Tesco for points, thank you very much!0
