Remortgaging and changing jobs

Options
Hopefully a quick question that someone in the mortgage industry can answer for me...

I will want to remortgage in September when my current 2 year discounted rate ends with Alliance & Leicester. Assuming I change lender (if they offer a better deal than A&L), will it matter that I will be changing jobs in June? i.e. Would a new lender look unfavourably on me as I'll only have been in the job 2 1/2 months? FYI: I have been in my current job 7 years and am staying in the same industry.

Any advice gratefully received.

Regards,
Penny
