breadmaker ingredients help!!

so i got my breadmker today and just looked at the recipes,,i dont have and sunflower oil and also dont have any milk powder,,what will i do,,any tips would be great !!thanks in advance

Hiya! Ok you can either go and buy the ingredients you need, substitute the oil for another type of oil (olive for eg) and leave out the milk powder, or completely miss both out!A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men :cool:

One of my loaves uses melted butter instead of oil, so you could try this
Also you can leave out milk powder as I usually do, or substiute some of the water for fresh milk0 -
thanks ladies for the quick response,,i've already had a disaster with the stuipid thing,,washed it and put it on for 10 mins,,as it first use and it knocked off my lecci!! it had started smoking,,tiny piece of celotape stuck to base,,then added ingredients and forgot to put in the blades,,got them in,,turned it on and then forgot the yeast!!!!!oh man,,so much work:)Dont cry because it's over,

A bit too excitedand missed the basics.
I don't use oil or milk powder in mine.
The main ingredients for mine (panasonic SD2854) are yeast, flour, sugar, butter, salt and water.
Stick it out and eventually you will get very yummy bread.

Poor thing! Once you get the hang of it you will be fine! Just don't forget to put the paddle in ! ! ! ! ! ! !
i would substitute the oil with melted butter or other oil, and go without the milk to be honestA little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men :cool:

just had a slice,,it is really yum,,i did fast bake which oly took an 1hr 20min,,have fruit cake gone in now,,oh and i used the olive oil in the bread,,think i forgot to say in all the excitement:DDont cry because it's over,
