i've decided to make some hampers for family this christmas, i'm going to do a sweet one with jams and marmalades in and a savoury one with chutneys and stuff. i have a breadmaker and was thinking of making a loaf to put in each, does anyone have any nice recipes for either of the hampers? i want something with some flavour/added ingredients but nothing thats going to fight with the flavours of my yummy hm preserves! an added complication is that the savoury one is for my dad and he doesnt like 'seedy' bread!
thanks,
Jen

How about chocolate bread, or raisin and spice bread for the sweet hamper
Olive and sundried tomato bread for the savoury hamper? Or you could make it really special and make focaccia, I think the breadmaker will do the dough and you can bake it in the oven0 -
How about a fruit loaf or ginger cake? They will stay fresh a bit longer than homemade bread.0

If the hamper doesn't have to keep for weeks, home-made cheese straws, digestives, parmesan crisps or any variation on savoury biscuits to go with cheese and chutneys would be a lovely addition.0
