    mummytwinton.

We are in a similar situation to yourself, been with them for about 8 years and yes they have been excellent,at the moment we are paying 5.6% interest on our 79K mortgage, however we feel that we are probably spending a bit too much each month so we have decided to reign things in a bit.

I spoke to oneaccount this morning and they offered their flexible morgage option, this works in a similar way except that you are only paying the mortgage, you need to find an alternative current account to feed it as it were.(best at the moment seems to be Lloyds tsb 5% interest account).

The advantage with this is that there are no fees to pay at all they will just switch the loan over, they are offering a 4.99% variable for 2 years, they do not offer a fixed rate although they will get you one with the rbs for a fee.

Its worth giving them a call they were indeed very helpful

    good luck
