assuming that anyone borrowing at a time when rates are 12% isn't going to be taking on a 25 year fix imo

Ask graham not me, it's not my point.:)

I am just stating the factual figures of grahams alternative reality.:D

    So you're saying you'd rather earn £80k than £32k.

    Brilliant.

    Other shocking headlines:

"Man would prefer to win lottery than not."

"Man would prefer not to get run over by car."

"Man decides not to throw Gold bar into river."

I'm surprised anyone reads any of Devon's posts anymore, they're either yet another argument with [STRIKE]someone[/STRIKE] everyone or else some completely illogical drivel based on his own lack of intellect and base stupidity. I generally just quickly skip past them these days, but the above stopped me in my tracks.

Therefore, I would rather buy a house at 2x my wages than at 5x my wages.

Would that not be true regardless of the IR rate.

That is one of the main reasons I don't have a Ferrari.

    Coincidence?

Really is not the same as the others. The others may well be 1, or 2 at most.

Actually, no, looking again at the list - I think Jonny Bravo is separate. But the other 3 could well be identical.
