I'm another hands and knees person. I've only got a small kitchen. I did have a mop - in fact I think there may still be one somewhere but I only used it once.

I'm also a recent Stardrops convert (just to prove I did read all the tips before posting in old style :rotfl: )

I was actually wondering if a good use for all the old flannels this house seems to accumulate would be for washing floors etc? Any thoughts anyone?
I live in my own little world. But it's okay. They know me here.

My old flannels are all microfibre & they emmigrate to the cleaning cupboard when they dont look so good anymore. They are fine for floor cleaning.

I hd asting mop that seemed to just swish filthy water about. Not good.

I have a vax hard floor cleaner - one of these http://www.qed-uk.com/q?i=15jShe3XNcqe&vp=5&bg=043&bp=vacnmopx&bi=0

Honesly? Its not that great. its hardly got any power in it, ended up buying a vac. Also the water doesnt get sucked up, its just goes on the pads. Not worth bothering TBH.

Ive got a jml microfibre mitt now so I hoover, then use that, stardrops, hands & knees and go over with an old tea towel and another hoover after.
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast
