Filing in forms couple on jsa?

We have just recieved the mountain of forms from our CAB advisor, we are both declaring banckrupt, do we fill the forms out so both are exactly the same?
Do the debts just go on hubbys forms and not mine as they are his?
We claim jsa as a couple, no other income.
ALL debts are in hubbys name, mortgage is in both.

Our advisor said we would not get an ipa? due to the fact we are on jsa, if and when we finally find new jobs will we get an ipa then? Even if its after discharge?

Hi leesmon here we go some infos for you regarding IPA

    http://www.insolvency.gov.uk/pdfs/guidanceleafletspdf/ipoipa.pdf

you will not get an IPA if you income is made up entirely of benefit . if you find a job then dont g forget you will have new expenses to account for such as travel, clothes ,hairdresser etc... .

on you hubby bankruptcy form you put only his debt.

    good luck

  • After you are discharged that's it. The OR cannot make an IPA after this date. If you go to work during the BR period then depending on how much cash is spare ( £99 per month surplus after deductions for allowable living expenses) an IPA may be issued and will last 36 months. I think that's correct?
