Forms is it easier to fill the forms in on paper or online at the insolvency website Just I am doing it online and I am being asked a lot of things that do not relate to my petitioning my self for bankruptcy. I am going to ask the cab and CCCS about this

Hi again oregon,
Most people find it easier filling the forms in online so you can amend any mistakes much more easily. I cannot imagine how frustrating it would have been to write the details out on the forms, then to have to mess around trying to make alterations-maybe even having to start again. It would definitely have been extra stress I definitely didn't need at the time of going BR!
If you're unsure on a question, post here and people will help.

I found it easier to download the forms onto my PC, you can get the link below. That way you fill them in using MS Word and can corrrect any mistakes you make easily. The second link is to a guide from the CAB to filling out the forms.

Hmm another vote for online.....the court sent me 4 copies of forms a while ago & the photocopying was terrible half of the form I couldnt read very well
Use the NED links for help as crowman suggests they'll help a fair bit....remember though with the online forms SAVE OFTEN!!!!! the website sometimes can crash meaning if you've typed a fair bit you might loose everythingWe all die. I found online a lot easier, even if the info doesnt relate to you there is still an option to check cant remember exactly but its a way of saying no info to add. Plus if you miss anything it highlights it for you. The online version then formats it into the forms which is why they look a bit different. The clerks at the court check them with you and make an ammendements as needed - lots of lines drawn thru mine lol!0

The online forms provide an easy-to-understand format...plus they have guidance notes.
If something doesn't apply, one simply cliks on the 'nothing to declare' wording.
If you wish to alter, one clicks the 'amendment' icon...and so on.
You simply keep going with each section until the percentage bar is filled up.
That means you have provided information for each area of a section.
Most may not apply to you as an individual....so the 'nothing to declare' icon gets clicked.
You can make a start on any of the sections at any time, saving after each bit is answered....
Once you have all the bars at 100%, you can then re-check your information...before submitting it.
[I got mine checked by my friendly CAB manager, on their laptop, mainly the SOA.....all very easy to do]
You then print off the 6.27 and 6.28, in triplicate..or more if you desire....
this comes out in a format totally different too what you have seen filling in the forms....all very legalese and totally non-understandable....I cannot imagine the knots I would have tied myself into had I filled out the legally-worded forms directly.....bless the IS online system!
Also, the OR can access the information you have placed with the IS, which may help your case officer come interview time??No, I don't think all other drivers are idiots......but some are determined to change my mind.......0
